Awana Clubs Ministry at Church on Atlantic

The Awana Clubs Ministry at Church on Atlantic is a Bible-centered program for children ages 4 yrs old thru 12th grade that focuses on learning God’s word in a fun atmosphere. We provide consistent, positive teaching and training that builds strong moral and spiritual values. Children learn about the reality of God and truth of the Bible. Incentives and awards are used to encourage children to progress. The name Awana is derived from the first letters of “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” found in 2 Timothy 2:15. The purpose of Awana is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him

Our Clubs: Cubbies, Sparks, Thruth & Training (T&T), Trek and Journey

Our clubs meet on Wednesdays from 6:30 om – 8:00 pm during the school year. Awana is all about getting to know God and His Word, having a relationship with Him, having FUN, and making new friends.

Cubbies Club is for children 4 years old thru kindergarten. The purpose of this club is to plant a seed of faith concerning God, Jesus Christ and the Bible. They will come to understand God’s great love for them, learn that they can talk to God through prayer, and that God talks to them through the Bible. With this club, parental involvement is vital in the progress of your child.

Sparks Club

Sparks Club is for children in first and second grade. The purpose of this club is to introduce Bible characters and events to learn why they are important. The focus here is helping children learn to know God and his son, Jesus Christ.

Truth & Training

Truth & Training is our third – fifth grade club. This club uses a questions and answers format with Scripture as a guide. They will learn that the Bible is true and that they can put their trust in God’s Word, so that they can learn to know and love Him.

TREK is for studants from 6th to 12th grade. This new program challenges students to wrestle with the three most important questions they start asking in middle school: “Who am I?”, “Why am I here?”,  “Who’s with me?”. By allowing students to dive deep into the Scriptures and answer these questions for themselves we allow them to own their faith and discover what they actually believe.

Journey establishes high school students as lifelong disciples through a deep study of God’s Word, mobilizing them to live with godly perspective and evident faith.
